The Nitecore NB10000 GEN3 is a lightweight and compact power bank relative to it's huge 10000 mAh capacity, and is designed for trail running but is also useful for weekends away from home, or the commuter who relies on a good power source to keep their devices topped up. It features two USB-C ports.
The body is made from carbon fibre reinforced polymer and has a hollowed frame to give the NB10000 its lightweight design, but also provide high strength and impact resistance to protect the cell. The interwoven carbon fibre sheets stabilise the cell for safe use, and the power bank has multiple safeguards such as overcurrent, short circuit, over-discharge, over charge, over voltage and thermal protection. The GEN3 also features cushioned corners to reduce impact and wear on your gear when running.
It is perfect for charging a range of devices such as torches, mobile phones, tablets and portable game consoles. It also features a low current charging mode which is useful for charging wearables such as wireless headphones and smart watches. External devices are easily and conveniently charged via either of the 22.5 W standard USB-C ports.
As well as an output, the USB-C ports are also an 18 W input for charging of the power bank itself. When connected to a USB power source the blue LED charging indicators will flash in turn as it charges up, and all three lights will be solid blue once the NB10000 GEN3 is fully charged.
The 4 blue indicators will also display the power status with a single press of the mode button, so you always know how much power you have left when not in use, or while being discharged. Four lights is 100%-75%, three lights is 75%-50%, two lights is 50%-25%, one light is 25%-10% and one flashing light means the battery is near depletion and requires charging. Double press the power button to turn the indicators off, or they will automatically turn off after 30 seconds of inactivity.
With a IPX5 rating, the NB10000 GEN3 is ready to accompany you on your adventures with rain or shine, making it a reliable and durable power source whether you're trail running, camping or commuting. It is also airline approved with a rated capacity of less than 100 Wh, which makes it the perfect compact travel companion for charging devices on the move.
