Once you’ve decided on the look, it’s time to switch between “Cine” and “Still” Modes to capture either a video or photo with ease. Shoot a series of clips – up to 15 seconds in total – and the camera will stitch them into one smooth video, automatically.
With the free instax mini Evo app on your smartphone, you can connect your camera via Bluetooth and craft up to 30 seconds of cinematic storytelling by trimming and reordering your clips, before adding a movie-style opening sequence and end credits.
When it comes to printing your video memories, you can add a scannable QR code** on your printed instax mini instant photo making your memories ready to be played back on a smartphone (download of free instax mini Evo app required). And with video and audio data securely stored for 24 months, you can relive every sound and story, whenever you like.

Frame Switch

Cine/Still Mode
Select your preferred era, now it’s time to switch between “Cine” and ”Still” to capture either a video or photo with ease. Shoot a series of clips – up to 15 seconds in total – and the camera will stitch them into one smooth video automatically. For ‘The Director’s Cut’ use your smartphone to download the free instax mini Evo™ app, connect your camera to the app via Bluetooth® and extend your creation to 30 seconds by adding or reordering clips.
Zoom Lever
Get closer to the moment with the built-in digital zoom. The tactile Zoom Lever lets you dial up the intimacy, or pull back for greater scope and more atmosphere, all without breaking your flow.
Self-Timer
Equipped with a 2 or 10-second Self-Timer, the instax mini Evo Cinema™ hybrid instant camera gives you plenty of time to step into the frame and let the camera do the rest (pair with a tripod* for great results). And with a two second warning, courtesy of the red lamp on the front, you’ll know when to get camera-ready.
